Last weekend I went to the festival held at a place called White House Farm, which was the first European settlement in the Shenandoah Valley. The festival, itself, which centered on conservation and environmental restoration was pretty low key, but the day was magnificent and the scenery was first rate.
There was a big garden that contained a variety of flowers, with sunflowers being the stars of the show.

And I enjoyed watching a dragonfly scoot around the area.
