I was fortunate to have the opportunity to display my photography at the Luray Arts Festival last week. For a small community such as this, there are an amazing number of very talented artists and I was humbled to be a part of it. One of the perks of living in a small town.
The festival highlighted painters, sculptors, potters, graphic artists, basket weavers, and much more. It was a fun weekend, showing my work, meeting a lot of nice people, and taking some pictures of the other artists and their work.
Here is a small sample.
In addition to the visual art, there were a number of performances by a few local musicians:
Finally, there was a couple of groups on interesting dancers--Civil War era dancers and a group of local cloggers.
